@o2_Solveig has asked the department responsible to review your case and will get back to you when she has a response from there.

Hello @SSNM ,
You have submitted notices of termination for the 4 contracts.
These were initially entered at the regular end of the contract after 24 months.
The complaint for the contracts is still ongoing.
I hope that there will be news from the specialist department soon.
The letter that you received from the store is not yet a confirmation of the cancellation.
The store has merely submitted it and the matter is being investigated.
Kind regards,
Solveig

This response from O2 is ridiculous. The shop dealer himself has stated that these numbers is cancelled which means he has indirectly stated that its either a fraud/mistake from his end.

So why should i be a victim to get charged for the Mobile numbers ??

I am sorry but this is not a good service to be provided by O2 to customer. This makes no sense.

I am willing to contact Consumer care for more support, if O2 cannot support me and provide proper justice.

When can i recieve a final verdict/cancellationletter from O2 ?

Regards,

Sowmya

@o2_Solveig has already said that your complaint is still being processed. It is not ridiculous because clearly there is a contract with your signature on it. The shop requsted that o2 look at your case, but the letter you received from the shop says only that such a request has been made, not that the contracts have been terminated. This is not something the shop can do.

Nobody here can tell you how long it will take before a decision is made.

Please help me here, i am totally stressed due to this every day and started to panic.

i dont believe this happened only to me going to such shops.

There must definitely be a way where O2 can really help solve this case. i am not willing to pay for something we havent had a discussion for in the shop , i dont have contract papers for those numbers , neither the SIM card, the email id that was initially used was a fake one.  Please understand from my point of view and help me come out of this messy situation. Every single day my stress level is going up due to this and i am unable to concentrate on other topics.

awaiting with positive solution from O2.

Dear O2,

I am writing to formally report a concerning issue involving a mobile SIM card dealer XXXXXX from whom I purchased services on 2nd January 2025. Unfortunately, I believe I have been a victim of fraudulent practices, and I am seeking assistance to resolve this matter.

This matter is for Customer number :XXXXXX

Details of the Incident:

  • On 2.01.2025 I was approached/signed a deal with the dealer in question for a new contract beginning 2025 for XXXXXX and XXXXXX ONLY.
  • I was led to believe the agreement included contracts for Mobile contracts XXXXXX and XXXXXX  ONLY.
  • However, it has come to my attention that he took extra signatures for additional contracts shown below only by misguiding me.

Mobilfunknummer XXXXXX

Mobilfunknummer XXXXXX

Mobilfunknummer XXXXXX

 Mobilfunknummer XXXXXX

Please understand that we are only 2 elders in family and why would we need 6 Mobile numbers??

I dont even know if these 4 numbers might be used for some illegal purposes from this person. So i am currently trapped from his scam and going through stress, panic and uneasiness. Need your help in person if you can come together with me and help me deal the situation directly.

I DONT have the contracts for these numbers, Neither SIM Cards, He has used my fake email address and gender wrongly during the process of signature.

Resolution Requested: I kindly request the following actions:

  1. Immediate investigation into the fraudulent activities of the dealer.
  2. Cancellation of the affected contract(s) without penalty or outstanding charges as this is purely a fraud case.
  3. Compensation for any losses incurred due to this issue, if applicable.

Next Steps: Please let me know if you require additional information or further documentation to proceed with my case. I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience regarding this urgent matter.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

Kind regards,

XXXXXX XXXXXX

Why did you do that? Your case is already being investigated so you just need to wait for a reply.

i need at least an estimated date when O2 can respond to me, its been 3 weeks i wrote my 1st letter and no response yet. my invoices are getting piled up for the mobile numbers i dont use, The o2 finance team are unable to freeze the account as they informed me. tell me a date untill when i can get a response?.

The o2 partner shop dealer is doing all the fraud for some commission for which we customers are suffering.

Please look at the graph below clearly , why has suddenly cost increased since January? it shows its a fraud.

Hi team,

I am still waiting for termination of 4 contracts with no further invoices/payments.

Its been 3 weeks i posted letter and received no justification.

Should i contact the whistleblower or the Human rights department to look into the fraud as i noticed many customers are also facing same issue in this shop.

Please can someone ask o2 team to look into this matter with seriousness and provide justification.

The more the delay, invoices are keeping piled up .

@SSNM this has nothing to do with whistleblowing and you ware writing in a public forum…

And it has nothing to do with your human rights, so they can’t help you.

It is your human right to make mistakes.

As i told you earlier ask the Verbraucherzentrale for help.

But I fear you are resistant to advice.

And unfortunately resistant to information provided here that the case is still being loooked at by the department responsible.

There is no other information to give you. You do not need to do anything else at this time apart from wait. I expect you will receive a response in the next week - 10 days (based on processing times posted in other threads). Then, if the response is not what you expect or are hoping for, you can consider what options you have.

ok i will wait for 5 to 10 days from your suggestion.

But i am undergoing lot of emotional distress at the moment being a fraud victim from the o2 partner shop. All i need is a positive response of contract termination with no invoices for these 4 numbers.

We understand that but you are communicating with other customers here and the o2 employees who moderate the forum have given you all the information they have, but they are not in a position to make any decisions.

Hello @SSNM ,
I can understand that the situation is unpleasant.
I would also like to know whether my concern has been resolved.
My colleagues are still working on your request.
There are several departments involved, which is why it's taking so long.
I have to go back to work on Saturday and will check the status again then.
Kind regards,
Solveig

@o2_Giulia @o2_Solveig : Police contacted me today and informed me that she has already sent a letter to O2 telefonica on 12th March stating a report with ‘Fraud’.

She was shocked to understand why O2 has not cancelled the contracts with no further invoices.

I cant share it here as it has personal details of me.

These are two different things. Fraud is a criminal offence, contracts are civil law agreements. If the police sent a letter to o2 to inform them you have reported a fraud then this is information that will be taken into consideration when processing your complaint.
