Yesterday I tried to create an order for a phone (iPhone 13) on a 48 months contract from the website but ,after completing the process, I received first the Eingangsbestätigung e-mail, then I received a second e-mail with the title: “Wichtig: Nur noch ein Schritt zu Ihrer Bestellung”. This e-mail stated that I had to make a one-time payment for around 145 Euro instead of the 25 advertised on the website, which was very disappointing to be honest. As far as I understood, the transaction didn’t go through so I thought that the offer was no longer available for this model. Therefore I decided to try with the iPhone 14. The result was the same… a few minutes after completing the process, I received two e-mails, the second one with the same title and content. The only difference was that this time the one-time payment had to be around 185 Euro instead of the advertised Euro. After these two attempts, I thought that the best idea was to get in touch with customer service which I did (on WhatsApp). After exposing my situation and my desire to get a new phone, I didn’t receive any further explanation of these e-mails. All the assistance I got was on placing a new order (iPhone 13, as originally planned). The agent confirmed that the order was going to match what’s advertised on the website, so I accepted. After that, I received the first e-mail (Eingangsbestätigung) but not the second one. Other than that, them help was very poor since my doubts were not cleared. So, I would really appreciate if you could answer the following questions:
- Were the three orders created or only the last one? I can’t see it anywhere on my profile whether the orders were placed or not.
- If more than one order were created, could you please cancel the other two? I would only like to keep the last one: iPhone 13 (128 GB) - Polastern - 48 months contract - 25 Euro one-time payment.
- Does the fact that I didn’t receive the second e-mail, after the order was placed by the agent, mean that the transaction went through as advertised on the website? Can you please help me confirm that?
