Hi everyone,

yesterday I received this text message from O2 on my phone that “Lieber Kunde. Ihr Mobiltelefon hat sich dem Internet verbunden, deshalb haben wir für Sie die Surf-Dayflat aktiviert. Ohne Internet-Pack surfen Sie damit für nur 99 Ct. pro Kalendertag (30MB)...”. But that is funny because I did not connect to the internet. What should I do now?

Hi @SidFara,

welcome in our English community.

Thanks for your message concerning the charge of our Surf-Day-Flats.

I just checked everything for you. You received the package “Surf On 500 MB” on 9th April 2020. This package was valid for 28 days until 6th May 2020. As the Surf-Day-Flat was charged on 6th, 7th and 8th May 2020, the charge is completely correct.

Did you block your device for data-usage on these days?

On 3rd May 2020 you even received a text message (SMS) that your volume of 500 MB will soon end.

Therefore, I have no opportunity to give you a credit for the charge of 3 x 0,99 €.

I hope you understand our decision.

Loving greetings,

Tobias

Hi Tobias,

thank you for your response. On 6th of May, when I was outside and my 500 MB package had finished and the option for data usage was still on, on my phone, for me the surf-day-flat charge for that day is justified. But as soon as I received the text that I was charged that day for surf-day-flat, I blocked the data usage on my phone (set the setting off). Yet, tomorrow of that day and the after (meaning May 7 and May 😎. I was again charged for surf-day-flat!!!

This should be impossible in those 2 days as my settings for data were on OFF and therefore data was blocked. Why did this happen?

Hi @SidFara,

thanks for your quick response.

We checked the data-usage. This was only a very little data-volume. Therefore, you get a credit of 2 x 0,99 €, so altogether 1,98 €.

I hope you agree to this solution.

Loving greetings,

Tobias
