Cancellation of my Contract before delivery


Hi,

 

I ordered a tablet tariff with a contract yesterday. My order number is WSHWXXXXXXHowever, when I saw another mobile phone contracts on your website, I changed my mind. I would very much like to cancel my order/contract before it even gets shipped. Because I do not want to feel the burden of returning the whole package to you. I wish there was a portal-like system where we can cancel our orders.

Thank you so much for your quick reply. I sent an email to them and hope that they will process the cancellation before the delivery.

I still haven’t gotten a response for my email. I am afraid that my tablet and sim card will get shipped before I can cancel my contract/order.

@o2_Karen, I kindly am asking you according to your answer in the forum. I just received a notification that my tablet and sim card have been shipped. I’d like to cancel my contract, and I sent an email to widerruf@cc.o2online.de about that matter before my products were shipped. Now, instead of going through the whole return process, can I just not receive my package from DHL and send it back to you? I know the process is not easy once I receive the package. Could you please help me solve my issue? Would it be possible for you to cancel the shipping so that I won’t receive it?

ich habe gerade ein Tablet mit einem Tarif auf der o2-Website bestellt. Ich kann doch problemlos den Vertrag kostenlos widerrufen, indem ich die Lieferung innerhalb von 14 Tagen verweigere, oder? Ich spreche nicht genug Deutsch, um den Kundenservice telefonisch zu erreichen, und mein Tablet und die Simkarte werden mir in 2 Tagen zugestellt.

Meine Frage ist, da ich es mir anders überlegt habe und einen anderen Tarif wählen möchte, kann ich dann einfach die Lieferung der DHL verweigern und meinen Widerrufsvorgang starten? Und für die Stornierung wird mir nichts berechnet, richtig?

Ich habe auch eine E-Mail an widerruf@cc.o2online.de geschickt. Bitte bestätigen Sie mir, dass ich die Lieferung sicher verweigern und DHL anweisen kann, das Paket zurückzuschicken.

Ich wäre Ihnen wirklich dankbar, wenn Sie mir helfen könnten :)

Hello all,

I just ordered a tablet with a tariff from the o2 website. I can easily cancel my contract, free of charge, by refusing the delivery within 14 days, right? I can't speak enough German to call the customer service via phone, and my tablet and sim card will be delivered to me in 2 days' time.

My question is; Since I've changed my mind and want to select another tariff, can I just refuse the DHL's delivery and start my cancellation process? And I won't be charged for the cancellation since it's not yet been 14 days, right?

I have also sent an email to widerruf@cc.o2online.de. Please confirm that I can safely refuse the delivery and tell DHL to return the package.

I would really appreciate if you guys could help me out :)

The shipping charges will be reimbursed if the parcel is returned. Have you ordered the smartphone without a mobile contract? Then you can order again as soon as we have confirmed the return.

Hello, what happens if you order a smartphone with a mobile contract? I would like to cancel my order and since I cannot reach o2 via email, I simply thought to refuse the delivery when it arrives. Can’t I cancel my whole contract like that?

In der Widerrufsbelehrung zum Tarif steht, dass die E-Mail ausreichend ist und in der Belehrung zum Gerät, dass die fristgerechte Retoure ausreicht. 

 

Ob dir etwas berechnet wird oder nicht, kann man nicht sagen. Die Mods sind im Feierabend und dein Beitrag in 1-5 Tagen an der Reihe.

Could you cancel your order in the meantime or do you still need support from us?
If you refuse to accept the hardware or return it to us within the revocation period of 14 days, the contract will be cancelled.
Wether you have a mobile phone contract at the same time, it will only be cancelled if you receive a hardware discount, otherwise you should revoke it yourself using the revocation form.

What did you mean by hardware discount? Did you mean that the mobile phone tariff gets discounted because it’s being bought with a tablet/phone? I am asking because I am in the same situation where I would like to cancel my contract by refusing to accept the hardware (and the sim card).

I have bought Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 + 5G with contract O 2 Free Unlimited Max (24 months) and the total price was 59.99 Euros per month. Now, because I chose this tariff option, I got a Discount on the monthly basic fee (24 months x € 38.00). Basically, the price of the mobile phone contract 02 Free Unlimited Max was dropped from 50 Euros to 12 Euros. So, does this mean hardware discount?

If so, the only thing I need to do to cancel my order is to refuse to accept the package (tablet and sim card), right? In doing so, my whole order (59.99 per month for 24 months) will be cancelled?

I don’t understand how the final reply has become the solution. My problem, unfortunately, has not yet been solved. My package will be arriving in 2 days’ time and I need to know if I can start the cancellation process by just refusing to accept the package from DHL and ask the courier to take it back to o2.

 

I kindly ask the English support of o2 to help me. Going through lots of threads on this forum about cancellation/refund, I have reached a conclusion myself that I can start the cancellation process of my order/contract simply by just refusing to accept the DHL package containing the tablet and the sim card. In that way, it will be returned to o2.

 

Unless I am informed, by the o2 support team, that this is not how the cancellation process begins, I will refuse to receive my package from DHL and ask the courier to return it to the sender (o2). Otherwise, if I receive the package, the return process will be very challenging for me because of the COVID-19 precautions that are taking place in Munich, where I live.

 

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

 

By the way, I’ve also sent an email to widerruf@cc.o2online.de saying that I would like to cancel my order.
