Hello,

In the attempt to start Extraordinary Termination for my O2 mobile contract...

I have tried clicking the link for the “cancellation form for moving abroad” on the o2 webpage:

This link does not work in either Chrome or Safari.  I get the following error:

{"timestamp":{"$Date":"2022-02-23T12:08:45Z"},"status":500,"error":"Internal Server Error","message":"","path":"/blueprint/servlet/resource/blob/67636/e96e7df14b508641b5e4e91a62487648/contract-cancellation-moving-abroad-download-data.pdf"}

Where can I find this form so that I can write my letter to Nuremburg???  Can I send the letter without the form?

Also, there is no rental contract or employee  for us.  We are not employed and are moving back into a house we own in our home country.  Should we send a copy of our home title? Or is Berlin’s de-registration document enough?

O2 sure doesn’t make this process easy!

Hello @BethInBerlin,

thank you for your enquiry and welcome to the community!
You can't open the FAQ yourself?
Or do you mean the FAQ linked in it?
If you mean the form then it is correct - apparently the link has changed. I will adapt that directly.
You can find the form here: Cancellation due to move abroad.

Kind regards
Jessica

Wrong one - that was the German version. Here is the English version.

Kind regards
Jessica

Thank you for the form.

Also, there is no rental contract or employee for us when we move to our home country.  We are not employed and are moving back into a house we already own.  Should we send a copy of our home deed/title? Or is Berlin’s de-registration document enough?

Hello @BethInBerlin ,

we need some form of documentation of your “new old” address. Either something akin to a copy of the registration form as you know it from here or a copy of your home deed will work.

Kind regards, Sven
