Hello,

I moved out of Germany last year in March, but I am still using O2 where I live now (Slovakia). My contract is still running, but I want to terminate my contract due to moving out of country, I know I need documents as a proof - document that says I have a permanent address here in Slovakia and possibly an employment contract. Does anyone know if I have to get these documents translated from Slovak language to German/English before I mail them to O2?

Thank you!

You will need the following documents:
a de-registration certificate of your present place of residence

and
a notification of your new, foreign domicile or alternatively a confirmation of your employer or landlord

If you are now living with your parents, they should be able to confirm that you are living with them for free.

i believe u always need copy’s of the original documents not a translated text dokument

Hi @Kiksimiksi

welcome to our English Community.

Please be aware of the fact not to open several threads for the same topic. This makes life easier for us. Thanks a lot.

@Alfons81 gave you already the correct answer. You do not need to translate the documents.

The procedure for cancelling your contract because of moving abroad is explained here under this link: instructions for cancellation because of moving abroad

Is everything clarified then so far?

Loving greetings,
