I have an existing Vodafone prepaid sim. I requested for Vodafone to transfer my phone number to a new provider. They have confirmed this via SMS on 12th July.
I have a new o2 prepaid sim, and I have asked o2 to transfer my number from Vodafone. o2 has not yet done this, despite numerous requests both online and via telephone with customer services.
I spoke with Vodafone customer services, and they say that they are waiting for o2 to request the number porting.
I spoke with o2 customer services, and they don't know why the porting is not completed yet. It has been 13 days already.
What's going on here, am I missing something? Please can somebody help here?
