Homespot internet extremly laggy


Hello! 

Since Monday I am having troubles with my internet. I have a Homespot o2 and Blau mobile phone. Both are having problems establishing video calls via Whatsapp, Zoom and Teams for the past week on 3 OS - Android, Mac and Windows. Is that a known problem around Bonn/Königswinter? I tried resetting the router several times, it did not help.

thanks for coming back to our English Community. 

 

I regret that you have problems using your o2 HomeSpot together with the common video-conferencing-tools. 

 

Can you please explain in detail what exactly is not functioning in the video-conferencing-tool? 

Did you check if you have a LTE-connection when you fill in your usage address at Livecheck

Did you try using the homespot in different places in your appartment, esspecially near the window.

Hi @o2_Tobias , for some reason I couldn’t log into the old account. Yes, I have checked the Livecheck and it says it works normally. The Homespot is in the same place for almost 1 year now, near the window. Nothing changed, there are no new devices, but for 2 weeks already I am having problems with every single video-call I make. on 4 different devices - Windows laptop, Windows PC, Macbook Air and Android phone. This is getting quite frustrating because I work from home office and it is affecting my job.

You can check you address via Livecheck for errors 

If there are no errors mentioned you can create a trouble ticket at the end of the check

with chosing “Ich stimme nicht zu” After that you have to answer some questions

and our colleagues from Tec department will take a closer look at your trouble ticket.
