Can I extend my current sim contract and have a phone?


Hello,

 

My 2-year contract will end on 01/04/21. And I want to extend my contract using the same simcard number, but I also want to get a phone. Is that possible? And given that all O2 shops are closed in Berlin due to the pandemic, how can I avail of that package? Thank you!

yes, sure. Sometimes you’ll already find some offers at g.o2.de/vvl if you’re logged into your account.

We’re also able to send you some offers via e-mail, but therefore we need to compare the customer data via a private message. If you’re interested in further offers, just send us a message here.

Normally you’ll find our shopfinder here https://www.o2online.de/shops/, but at the moment all shops are closed due to corona virus until the end of january. :disappointed:

If you want, I tell my colleagues to make you some offers directly here in this thread. There’s much going on in our forums, it could take a few days, if that’s okay for you. You can write down your desired tariff (or preferred data volume) here and if you need (optional) a mobile phone, then my colleagues can send you some offers via email after verifying the customer account with a private message.

Thank you again for your reply. I would like to inquire about offers using the same sim card that I have with 6-10GB and with an iPhone for a budget of 30-40EUR per month. If none, then can you recommend me other offers, maybe with a lower data volume but preferably with an iphone?

Our phones are not locked, you can use another prividers SIM-card without problems.

The mobile phone contracts usually run for 24 months. There are also contracts that can be terminated monthly (Flex), but these cost 5 euros more per month than the comparable 24-month contract. However, you cannot change from a 24-month contract to a monthly contract. In that case, you would have to cancel the fixed-term contract and sign a new one, in which case you would have to pay a one-time connection fee again and you cannot simply take the number with you.
The MyHandy contracts run for 12, 24, 36 or 48 months, depending on what you have in mind. It is also possible to pay off an O2 MyHandy contract early. In the end, however, it makes no difference to the final price.

 

I've picked out an offer for you with an iPhone 11 with an increased down payment for the phone, so the monthly rate is a little lower. It would cost even more with the iPhone 12. :confused:
Are you considering an other manufacturer than Apple? We have some affordable mobile phones on offer. You can take a look here to see what comes into question for you. If the mobile phone is priced at a maximum of 16 euros per month, you will be in your desired price range.

Thank you for your reply. If ever I avail iphone 11, is it 128GB or 64GB? And how much is it per month? Can you list down here the specific details including the internet/data volume and total amount per month? I have not seen the offer in your previous message.

The iPhone is the one with 64 GB (you can see ist in the Email, the internal memory is shown) and I ordered a phone in violet for you. :wink:

Shipping hardware usually takes up to 5 working days. You will also be informed about the shipping process and receive a tracking number as soon as the phone has been shipped.

I was talking to one of your colleagues in chat and I think she misunderstood that I am buying a new iphone 11 in Violet because I received an email about ordering a new phone iphone 11 for 23eur per month and a deposit of 121eur. Is it you or her? Because if I remember correctly I extended my contract and it is over 40+eur per month. I am confused. I am attaching it here.

If you wish to cancel the order you placed yesterday, please use the cancellation form for the contract renewal and the cancellation form for the shipment of goods, which you should also have received with the confirmation email from us. You can send the cancellation to the email address stated in the form.

I can’t stop the shipment of the hardware. Therefore, if you do not want the phone after all, please refuse to accept it.

Oh okay. So the invoice for the Handy and the Tarif are separate? If yes then it makes sense to add them together. I have received the details of the new contract but I have not received the shipping details for the phone yet.

Dear @o2_Andrea,

 

I just saw that my address in o2 does not include my Apartment Number. I changed it in the o2 App already. Do you think it will automatically update for the shipping address of the phone? The street number and house number is correct, however, the apartment number was originally not included. I need to add it so that it is easier for the courier to find me since my building is big and there are a lot of apartment units.

 

If ever it is not reflected, can you update the shipping address based on my new address (with apartment number)? Or is it possible to have it delivered in a DHL/DPD Paket Shop? I can send you the address if ever. Thank you so much again.

no the address is fixed from the the moment of the order and can’t be changed now. :confused:

Maybe you can just put a note for the DHL man/women by the doorbells or the door. "Lieber DHL Bote, bitte die Sendung für xy in Appertement abc abgeben. Danke schön!"
