Hello,

I’m posting here in English, sorry….

I just have received my connection with the 250mb/s package.

When I check my connection, I only have 204mb/s available.

Do you have any idea why ?

Thank you in advance for your time and help

Have a nice day

Hi, I moved your post to the English section. Line capacity is just a theoretical value calculated by the FRITZ!Box, DLM is likely the cause for the data rate limit. Is your DSL sync stable?

By the way, you should be able to change the language of your FRITZ!Box by going to System → Region und Sprache and selecting Englisch from the drop-down menu.

Hi!

Thank you to have moved the post, I didn’t see the English section.

Sometime it can happen, the modem restart for no reason. Let’s say every 10 days approximately

Thank you so much for the language tip !

Hi again,

It seems there is some errors on the line :

You can check the Event Log (to be found under System), it lists two of the worst problems Powerline and branches in the DSL line if they occur. If your line is stable for some time, the max datarate will increase again on its own.

@thefirestrings when was the screenshot taken?  After the language change?  Then there was a reconnect and the DTU errors are normal for the first 15 minutes.  How is it now?

Hello @thefirestrings,

welcome to our o2 Community!

Have the comments from @Droggelbecher and @Joe Doe already been helpful? Please let us know if you need any further assistance.

Kind regards and a happy holiday :)

Hello,

Unfortunately, nothing to do, impossible to get more bandwidth and this is even worst, now the line decreased from 204 to 185.

I’m a bit disapointed to have changed the package from 100 to 250 and to get only 80 more than before

Hi @thefirestrings

If have checked you DSL, your connections looks fine, no disconnects within the last 7 days.

The speed of your connection depends largely on the length of the line to your house and can therefore not be influenced.

You can check your inhouse wires / cabling maybe thats a way to get some extra downstream performance.

Are there more then one “TAE Dose” in your home or apartment? Can you open the TAE Dose on which your router is connected to and upload a photo of it?

Best Regards Matze
