Dear O2 Team,

 

I hope this message finds you well.

I am writing to kindly request, if possible, to change the email address registered in my Mein O2 account. The current email address associated with my account is not the one that I usually use and I would like to update it to the one that it is being used for the O2 community account.

Good morning @Seb2941,
you can change your e-mail address yourself at any time in the MyO₂ settings.

Here you can find your contact details. Please log in with your phone number. Please note: That your email is stored twice, once for MyO₂ and once for the notification when your invoice is ready. And you will receive a confirmation email in which you have to confirm the change.

I have already tried that but unfortunately it does not allow me to change the email.

Not sure if it has something to do with the fact that the contract it is registered under my company.


@Seb2941 What kind of error message do you get when you try to change the e-mail address?

Are you the boss of the company? Or are you an employee of the company? If the latter, you may need to contact your boss to make the change.


It does not display any error messages. Whenever I press nothing happens. I am the owner of the company and I just opened the account with O2 a few days back.

@Seb2941 Good thank you for your the information. Then you have to change your email via your business account as you have stored the email there. Here you can access the contact details of your company.

I guess I'll have to contact directly O2. When I try to register on the business account it does not recognize the initial email address that I've used.

@Seb2941 That's strange 🤨, you can contact the English customer service at: 089 66 66 30 08 1 or you can wait here for moderation but that can take up to 14 days due to high demand for help.

It is unusual that the email address could not be changed either online or through our customer service. Was there possibly an error?
