Canceling DSL Contract due to Unavailability in New Apartment


I am writing to request your assistance in canceling my DSL internet contract, which is currently set to expire in 2025. Since I am moving, I tried to initiate the move of the internet and Unfortunately, I have encountered an issue with the service as it is not available in my new apartment.

Given this situation, I would appreciate your guidance on how to cancel the contract prior to its expiration date. Please provide me with the necessary steps and requirements for initiating this cancellation process.

welcome to the o2 community. It's nice to hear from you this way. The first thing to do is to order a move. Have you already done that? Have you received any feedback?

I attempted to move the service through the customer portal, but I encountered an issue where it indicated that DSL is not available at my new location, it does not let me move forward from there. Consequently, I proceeded to cancel after I called the customer care and was advised to do so. Now, I'm in the waiting phase for their feedback. Can you provide any assistance with this matter?

Hello,
I've gone through some of the FAQs, but I still require individual assistance. Despite initiating the cancellation process, I haven't received any response. This month, I was billed as usual, even though I requested cancellation due to the unavailability of DSL in my new apartment. When I checked my customer portal, it showed that the cancellation is scheduled for 2025, which implies that the contract will continue until then. I have called and called and, nothing. I urgently need someone to help me with this matter, and I must express my dissatisfaction with the level of customer service I've experienced.

Hello @Rach01 ,

have you specifically asked for an earlier termination of your contract instead of just the cancelation of it? Having the date set to 2025 makes it look like you just send in a normal cancelation. You have to specifically ask for the early end of your contract.
