10 digit pin, username & password to reset router

Hello,

I need to reset my router.

I have read that in order to do this I need my username, password & 10 digit pin number.

Is this the same username (i.e. my email address) that I use to login at https://login.o2online.de/ ?

I also do not have a 10 digit pin number.

Could you please help me find these details?

Thanks,
Tanya

Moin Moin,
to find the 10 digit pin you have to login to Mein O2 with your phone number.
On the left menu to "Tarife & Optionen" and on the right tab click on "Vertrag verwalten"on "Weiter".
Than "Zugangsdaten für Ihren DSL-Router".

The number below "VoIP PIN" is the one you need!

Hello @schluej,

Thanks for the quick reply!

I have tried resetting my router by pressing the 'reset' button on the router with a thin pencil.

When I do this something resets, but I can immediately use the internet again (e.g. facebook), and it still asks me for a password when I go to http://192.168.1.1/.

I would really like to change this password & change the password of my router, as it seems someone has been using my data.

Please can you help?

Thanks again,
Tanya

You have to press the reset button for at leased 10 seconds (power should be on in this time, and the system should be up).

Thank you very much! It worked!

Is there a way I can see which devices were connected in the last 30 days?

Not after a this reset. That "kills" every thing.
I am not using this router. Try a look under "Heimnetz".
And with luck it could be in LAN the default release time is 7 days for DHCP.
So a device should be visible for 7 days...
