I have been a DSL customer of O2 for more than 1.5 years. Recently I tried to take a phone from a third party (Deinhandy.de). However, they could not deploy the phone within a month. So I quit the contract. But since then, when I try to log in to my O2 account, it asks for a phone number where it should send SMS to complete the login. The good thing is that I have no idea who has these phone numbers. Now the question is:
1. Is it a good service to force an existing customer's login to a SIM number if the customer does not have the number or configured phone number to sign in?
2. I also want to sign a new contract with Sparhandy, but have not received any confirmation from O2 regarding the termination of the old contract (with Deinhandy). Any idea how long this process can take?
