How to open my NAT type?

Connection Type (Cable, DSL, Mobile)?

Cable = On way with IPv4.

DSL = Read instructions of the router.

Mobile = if Post payed, 49,99€ for disable CGN.

My connections is under LTE/5G, I believe that will fall under mobile?
How would I pay it, and would it be added to my next month's bill? And what do I have to provide to have an Open NAT type enabled? Just my sim #?

This is a option for your SIM, yes this will be billed with the next invoice.

Just give the last 3 digit of you phone number and an ok for the 49,99€.

An O2 Admin will enable the option or if needed ask for other details. 

After activation change the APN to netpublic and restart the router.

@schluej I see, thanks for the response. Should I wait here for an admin to contact me, or what exactly should I do? I was hoping to have it enabled the soonest by tomorrow, if you could direct me to someone that does these things that would greatly be appreciated.

Yes wait for an O2 admin. If your email is matching with the o2 email address and if you agree with the 49,99€ they will do it for you.

Despite my best efforts, I have been unable to resolve the consistent packet loss, ping spikes, and limited peer-to-peer connectivity caused by the strict NAT type setting. I have come to the conclusion that even if I manage to set my NAT type to open, I will still encounter high ping and packet loss due to the poor and unreliable internet signal.

Considering the circumstances, I am contemplating the decision to explore any available Internet tariffs without any contract period plans that you offer. However, I have some concerns regarding the process and the feasibility of this solution. Unfortunately, I do not have access to the building telephone box in my apartment, which could impact the installation process. Additionally, I am uncertain about the quality and reliability of the internet connection provided in my area here in Germany.

I kindly request your assistance and guidance in finding a suitable resolution to these persistent issues. If there are any alternative suggestions or recommendations you can provide, I would greatly appreciate hearing them.

if you are looking for a stable internet connection, I’d always advise for any kind of “wired” connection over a mobile one. Whether that ends up being Fiber, Coax or DSL. Have you already checked what is avaiable at your address?
When you say that you have no access to the telephone box in the building, do you mean the room where it is located entirely or that you can’t open it? Because the latter should not be an issue in case of a technician coming out to activate your connection.

Regarding the telephone jack and telephone junction boxes in my apartment building, I wanted to address a concern that was highlighted on the "Technical activation checklist" during my online application. It was stated there that “the technician needs access to the telephone jack and telephone junction boxes in the house.” 

As of the moment, I don't have access or any knowledge as to where the telephone jack and/or telephone junction boxes in the house/building.

I wanted to inquire if your technicians have the capability to find a solution around this. If there is a way to overcome this obstacle, I would be more than willing to proceed with my application.
