Problem with o2


Hi,

After coming to Germany to work I decided to buy an Iphone 11 pro with mobile data, the contract was for 24 months and started  04/09/20, 2 and a half years later they’re still taking money, I lost my sim card and i keep paying cause I don’t know what to do (I came back to italy for work) I tried to call the english service phone number but they don’t pick up the phone (and i keep paying for every second im on the line). They also don’t have an email so its impossible to come into contact with them, does anyone have any tips on what to do?

First of all, thanks for the answer, also, I don’t understand what’s my category on the kundigung page, is it mobilfunk? on my contract there’s written My-Handy-Vertrag but on the site there’s not.

Hopefully they’ll leave me alone with that, cause I already paid WAY MORE than what’s written on the contract, if not imma close the bank account and contact a lawyer.

Hello, 

a myHandy contract ends automatically when it's fully paid...  but the tariff ends after the customer cancel it to the end of the 24 month period or later.

The term of an o2 my Handy contract can be 24, 36 or 48 months.
If the term of the o2 my Handy contract has expired, the installment payment ends automatically.

The contract states 24 Monate, Einmalige Kosten 41,81 euros - Monatliche Kosten 44,50 euros the contract (and order) are on 03-09-2020, and for some reason they keep charging me 49,99 euros everymonth

If you do not cancel the mobile phone contract after the agreed term (24 months), it will be automatically renewed every month. The discounts usually expire after 24 months (you can see this on the mobile phone bill if a date is specified next to the discount)

Guess its my bad I didnt inform myself earlier, hopefully they’ll answer fast the kundigung and stop withdrawing money, thanks for all the info guys, wish you a wonderful day!

I hope everything went well with your cancellation and maybe you have already received your cancellation confirmation.

After the 24-month term, the notice period is one month, so the contract should end around mid-May.

I still didn’t receive an answer to my kundigung that i sent 15 days ago.

Is it normal? thanks for the help

As a rule, you will receive confirmation of cancellation within 10 days.
I am surprised that you have not received this so far. 
Have you already received a current bill?
If so, you can also see the status of the termination and the termination date on the third page "Good to know".
