Dear Community,

 

So, I have O2 homespot since January this year and since then i am laden with problems with connectivity. There is not a single day in which i enjoyed great connectivity. The good connectivity is only available for an hour or 2 at max. The connectivity is so bad that i can’t even get smooth internet 5 meters away from device in the same room. When i use WhatsApp to talk back home, the signals are just not stable and watching videos even on youtube is a nightmare. Extremely poor connectivity. I have placed my O2 Homespot device on the window facing main street. Its connectivity is still very bad (I am still generous saying very bad, it is worse). It is just today that i found this portal to may be ask someone in community because reaching someone O2 customer service helpline is simply near to impossible. 

It is seriously not worth €35. They cut the money from my account religiously but for solutions, their helplines never have a person that i can reach. 

Where can i get the solution to the connectivity problems? Is there any number to call or email address to reach them out or they contact here?

Can anyone help me?

I am living in Düsseldorf since 2.5 years. It is just i got the first O2 device this year for the first time.

Here is the place in Bilk where the radio mast stands.

The address ist Brinckmannstr. 7 (Umweltamt). It would help to know where and how you live.

Please don’t tell your private address, just a street next to you. Then it’s also important to know, how you live, e. g. Auf’m Hennekamp frontside, that is you have sight to the cell or backside? Which floor?

If you should live backside and ground floor, the odds become poor til none to enhance the signal anyhow. Just my opinion. But Düsseldorf is not to be known for only having LTE connections to internet. Will you stay longer than one year in Düsseldorf?

    Street is: Himmelgeister str. I live on 2nd floor, Homespot is on street side window.

    Hi @akif.amin ,

     

    the surrounding base stations, especially the nodes of the LTE-Network, are now showing an error. The workload is pretty high, which is why the connection is available, but seldom usable at the moment during the rush hours.

    Sorry for the inconvenience! Our tech-departmend is already on the case to improve the situation in the area.
