10 times lower speed than stated in contract

Hi! I connected to o2 DSL tariff FlexM. For the first month speed was dropping from 50Mb/s to 10Mb/s or 5 Mb/s couple of times for some hours all in all which was ok. But the last month internet speed have never been higher than 4.8 Mb/s and Leitungskapazität mentioned in DSL information tab never seen to be more than 5000 kbit/s. How this can be? Is it fixable? I believe it is wrong to pay for 50 Mb/s and get only 1/10 of it.

Hello! I was connected to the O2 DSL tariff FlexM. In the first month the rate fell from 50Mb / s to 10Mb / s or 5 Mb / s for a few hours, which was a total fine. But the internet speed of the last month has never been higher than 4.8 Mb / s and the capacity that is mentioned in the DSL information table, was never higher than 5000 kbit / s. How can that be? Is it repairable? I think it is wrong to pay for 50 Mb / s and only 1.10 to get it.

I have checked your connection and it looks like your down and upstream are both far to low. I think this has to be fixed by the local network provider. Have you already tried to contact our technical support? You will find their free phone number here under step 2.

Are you living in 6816x PLZ area / South West Germany?

I have exactly the same problem, the 50MB/s connection was fine but since I returned 2 days ago, I get only 2MB/s and the "Leitungskapazität" is really low now.
