phishing text message saying i need to extend my activation

I recieved this text message on my iphone saying i need to extend my Sim cars activation, unfortunately i clicked on it put my phone number and its password. But then i realized quickly it was a phishing email and changed my password and pin code, deleted the safari history and restarted my phone. I want still to inform of this action in case any suspicious activity happens from my number

Hello @Heidi265 ,

welcome to the o2 Community 💙.

It’s a good thing that you immediately changed your password. Have you gotten any messages or e-mails concerning changes being made to your contract? That would be the sign, that someone is using the data that they received from you earlier.

Kind regards, Sven

Hello Sven, no i have not recieved anything yet. Should i also contact my bank in case they make payments from my meino2 account?

Hello @Heidi265,

If you have already prevented access to your customer portal by changing your password, it is unlikely that anything else will happen.

However, you should definitely make sure that you do not use the same passwords for different applications and always use strong passwords.

I checked your customer details and found that the contact address was changed today. Was that you yourself? If not, please change it back.

Otherwise, no suspicious activity is seen.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Best regards

Giulia
