Special cancellation of Sim contract upon moving back to home country.

So, I got 24 months sim contract on 19 December by visiting an O2 shop in Bonn, but due to some reasons I am going back to my home country by the end of January. I logged into the website clicked on manage contract and selected special termination of the contract and filled out the details online and I received and auto generated email of the confirmation of my cancellation request but I haven't received any leads after that.

Too bad you want to leave us. The steps you have taken so far have been the right ones.
Did you also enclose the corresponding proof of termination?
If not, please complete this form and send it to us with the relevant supporting documents and our colleagues in the specialist
department will take care of it.
