Dear O2 team,
im really frustrated with the handy-Versicherung because I bought an iPad Air 4 64gb WiFi on 25.02.2021 with O2 in contract.
i want to insure this product but when I go to the link provided for mobile insurance and I enter details correctly in first page and in second page it’s asking for IMEI no of the product where as my iPad is only WiFi without Lte… so my iPad Air 4 WiFi has only serial number and it’s not having IMEI number and I’m unable to proceed further.! I asked one of the O2 representative in online chat. She assigned a dummy IMEI no to the product. What happens if I continue further with dummy IMEI .? Will the Telefónica insurance be able to identify my IPad in any case of damage or lost with this dummy IMEI without typing my serial number in the insurance registration?
i want to buy this insurance for the product as soon as possible because you provided only 30 days.
