Dear Sir/Madam,

 

I am currently under O2 Free M Boost Online and during my purchase, the salesperson gave me another sim card (O2 Free S Online). From this month bill payment invoice, I have to pay for both sim cards. But, since I’m not using the second sim card (O2 Free S online) in the following months of my contract. Do I still have to pay for them? and if I want to cancel the second sim card where do I need to go?

If you have a second contract (o2 Free S online) you have to pay for it.

You can cancel the contrag via Fax or Letter:

Fax = 01805571766

there is no specific form, but it must contain the phone number + signature from the contract owner and when you want to cancel the contract, like “to the next possible time”.

I am currently under O2 Free M Boost Online and during my purchase, the salesperson gave me another sim card (O2 Free S Online), the contracts  started on 8/10/2024.  So, if I want to terminate both contract, when should i give the notice of termination? and can I do it by visiting the O2 store or should i write down and post the notice of termination to the given address:

Hello @Nihayatul,

if you want to terminate both contracts to the end of the minimum contract term you can send your termination at any point in time before the notice period. You will find this date also on your invoice stated as “Spätester Kündigungstermin”.

If you miss this period the contract(s) extend only for one more month until you send in a termination so it will not run for a long period of time.

You can send your notice of cancelation either via letter, you will find the possibilty to cancel your contracts online on the bottom of every web page (“Vertrag kündigen”). If you do not speak any german I recommend using one of this options so there can be no misunderstandig if you talk to a person.

  1.  Since I have two sim card (O2 Free M Boost Online= Sim 1) and another sim card (O2 Free S Online= Sim 2), then I should fill in the form separately right for both sim cards?
  2. May i know, if I send the termination notice now, then my number with O2 will be valid till the end of my contract which is on 8/10/2024?

not as fast as Lars, but here some answers to your questions 😄

  1. Yes, those are two separate contracts. If you send a termination you also have to specify, which phone number you want to cancel.
  2. If you cancel a contract, it will run to the end of the minimum contract duration and be cancelled then. If you only have a duration of one month left, it will be valid to the last day of this month. As Lars mentioned, if your minimum contract duration of 24 month ist over, the contract will only extend for one month and will always be extended for one month if you do not cancel it..
