you can check the details or your bill and billing cycle in Mein o2. Either the app, or the webpage, both are fine. You can also check the remaining days on the front page, as Bumer mentioned above.
A new contract will most likey be set to the automatic deduction from your bank account. Your bill will also include a line in the opener, which describes the kind of payment for that specific bill.
