Using Connect Option


Hello O2 community, I have extended and downgraded my contract from Free M Boost to S Boost Plus. Both offered Connect Option. I got a free sim card and datacard. However, I don’t remember my data card ever worked.

1. The Datacard appears on my plan so it should work right?
2. Do I need to activate my free Data card for it to work? Do I need to activate it on another phone or can I just insert in and use the data directly?

If you see the data card in My O2, it no longer needs to be activated. You can use them at any time.

Hello all, I just test and input the original PIN but the PIN doesn’t work. I have only 1 try now. I did remember it also didn’t work right at the beginning with Free M Boost. At that time I didn’t need it but now I do. What should I do now?

Hello @Chillitan, from your first text I understand, that you got a brand new DataSIMCard. Therefore you should also have received a new PIN and PUK. They are listed on the CardTray.

Can you check this please and update me here?

Hello Ines, I have called the hotline and had to reset my PUK and enter a new PIN. It works now. Thank you!
