unblock sim card


My sim card was blocked because i had not recharged for 6 months. I am trying to recharge it online but I am getting an error. I tried to call the prepaid customer service but they don't speak English. Could you please help

Then the SIM card has been deactivated and unlocking is no longer possible. Order a new one.

On what date did the credit expire? And do you no longer have a network connection?

I am not sure of the exact date but it's like 3 weeks ago… yes I don't have any network connection anymore

I’m sorry your SIM-card has been deactivated and top-up was too late. 

It is like Bumer already said. The card cannot be reactivated and you will need a new one. You can transfer the phone number to a new card within 90 days after deactivation of the SIM.

Has the card been like a back-up for emergencies?

Yes I use it as my second phone number. Can you tell me how to transfer the phone number to a new one?

Yes I would like to transfer the phone number to a new card within O2 as you mentioned it's possible within 90 days after deactivation of the SIM

Hi ​@planner_89 ,

To transfer your old number to a new o2 card you will need to fill in this form for mobilephone number transfer within o2. It is in German, but i’m sure a translator will help understand what goes where 🙂 and if you still have questions, don’t hesitate to ask us here.

Thanks Rebecca. I filled and sent the form by email. Do I need to buy a new sim card that will be replaced later by the old phone number or I can use the old SIM directly?

I hope I didn't misunderstand you here. You can only transfer your mobile phone number to an active SIM card. You will need an active SIM before sending in the form, since the phone number wil transferred there. This is also the reason why you need to fill in a SIM number 🙂
