Hello @stojadinovicp ,
welcome to the o2 Community .
When you are trying to establish a connection manually, you’ll usually have to attempt this several times before a connection is established. Also as there hae been issues with this in the past, please refrain from using several multicards from one contract when you are abroad.
Kind regards, Sven
Well, I do have one card in my phone and another in my tablet.
The tablet one is very rarely used, so I would not mind turning it off even, if that is the solution. (albeit very weird!)
But, also, my tablet is mostly turned off, I only turn it on when I use it, once or twice a week.
But, my current problem still remains, my tabled is turned off and my phone is not able to connect.
It also is not connecting with automatic connection, which is why I tried manual and saw a list of ALL networks as forbidden.
What is the solution for this problem, at this point? Taking out the tablet sim and waiting - how long?
Or something else?
So, is there any solution to my problem?
I’m not a fan of not having a phone or service that I am paying for.
Hello @stojadinovicp
That ist unfortunate that your phone does not connect automatically. Did you try it up to 10 times manually? Is your APN set to internet?
Did you activate data roaming under mobile networks?

Gerrit

Uhm, that’s a lot of questions I am not sure I understand…
So, no I did not try up to 10 times manually - did not know this was a thing?
What is APN? Again, everything was working just fine, roaming internet in Spain was working just fine - until it wasn’t, without me changing anything.
Data roaming has been active the whole time, I only turn it off when I leave EU.
Hello @stojadinovicp,
the APN ist the data access point, with an Android smartphone or tablet you can check and change it under the "Wireless and networks" or "Network & Internet" category. There you will find the "Mobile networks" item. If you tap on the "Access points" option, you can create a new APN. For your access with a SIM card from us the APN has to be: internet.
Regards,
Gerrit
But the APN is not the problem, the problem is the SIM card.
I took my secondary SIM from my tablet into my phone and it worked.
So, clearly, the secondary SIM is working (was working in the tablet as well) and the main SIM is not.
@stojadinovicp, is your main SIM the one with the number ending on -200 and the one which you are using in your tablet the one with the number ending on -965?
Regards,
Gerrit
Neither is matching my SIMs...
Hello @stojadinovicp ,
both the card that is working as well as the other one that isn’t are multicards that belong to the same contract or are these completely separate cards and contracts that you are using?
Kind regards, Sven
Same contact, same phone number.
The second one was requested for the tablet.
