SMS is not received by the international recipients


Dear Team,

since long I am trying to send SMS to india/ indian recipients but till the date none of the recipent has received a sms from me.

 all the time 29cents has deducted from my account.

also, I tried different Indian numbers of family and friends and none of them has confirm that they received a message from me.

Is it best to check whether the phone numbers are entered in the correct format? So no 0 in front but e.g. for India 0091 or +91.

If the problem persists, I would contact customer service.

sms is sent directly via banking app but in the inbox I can see that they have sent it to +91...…

for the test purpose, I also sent a sms to family members using +91 and problem is the same.

Okay, that's really weird, maybe you should call customer service. It is also available in English.

I am prepaid customer and there is no English helpline for prepaid customers!

Can you send SMS to other recipients? Also to foreign numbers? 
What type of cell phone do you use exactly?

Sms is sent to different indian numbers but none of them receive it.

I can send sms to German number and all German numbers receives my sms.

I really see it as a technical problem from O2 side.

 

I am using android phone ( oneplus6t)

all the settings are correctly set.

Can you send SMS to other foreign numbers?
Can you call Indian numbers with your cell phone?
Have you checked if there is a block on calls/SMS to foreign countries in your phone?

there is no block on my cell phone.

I can call to indian numbers.

msg is sent from my phone and money is also deducted.

 

only the point is, none of the recipent from india receives the msg.

Can you find out if the recipients of other SMS from Germany can receive?
Do you have the possibility to test the sim card in another cell phone? Whether it works there with the SMS send to India.

I have changed phone and tried to send sms to indian recipient. they have not received any sms from me.

 

When I send, sms to German number, recipient get a sms from me.

receipent from Germany can get a sms from me. Only problem with msgs which i sent to India.

I received reply from O2 and its hopeless! :/ 

Before raising compliant here, I already check all the other things! I am sure, this issue is from O2 and I think, I need to take further action against O2.

auch nach intensiver Prüfung (Nr. P*********) konnten wir keine technische Beeinträchtigung unseres Netzes feststellen.

I have also just received this message.
Our colleagues in the technical department have checked everything and there is no malfunction on our side. 
I don't really have any more options for action here. 

 The recipients should contact their local provider and ask whether there are any restrictions on reception from the German network.
