I am extremely unhappy with O2 service. I bought a pre-paid SIM from REWE that I cannot use. I have tried to activate it, but I cannot. The advice from O2 includes links to activate the card. I cannot activate as my UK bank IBAN is not accepted and I have not got a customer number.
Staff in the O2 store tell me I am not supposed to activate, I am supposed to register my ID first. They cannot help because the SIM was bought at REWE and not an O2 store - RIDICULOUS!!! Staff direct me to card activation, which I cannot do. They direct me to Postbank to get a form for ID. Postbank say this is wrong, I have to ID through O2 video chat using my passport.
None of these requirements were explained at point of purchase. When I try to fulfill the requirements, I have been given bad information at every stage. I have wasted my time and money, and I am fed up. I want my €9.99 back. I am an O2 UK customer. Either refund to an account, send a cheque, or credit my UK account.
