Problem with Activating SIM card

So I ordered and received my prepaid SIM card. When I went to activate it I’m told my date of birth is incorrect. I’ve tired to access customer care video call with no answer and all the menus on the phone in options are in German so I haven’t a notion what’s going on.

According to the lad in the shop there’s an issue with the system but he couldnt help. 

Anyone dealt with anything like this?

I am afraid in this special case it makes sense to order a complete new prepaid contract.

That is the best, fastest and easiest option of all, and please make sure that every personal info of you is correct and there are no typing errors

when ordering the new sim card.

Can you tell us what kind of sim card it is? 
Is it a new contract? Post or prepaid? 
Or a replacement sim card or a multi card?
