Please ask your new provider to take your phone number with you. Usually there should be a form for this. Your new provider will contact us directly about this.

Hello, I want to port my number to a different provider and that provider is telling me to cantact my current provider that is o2 and have them realease my number, I have a prepaid sim and don't know German so I can't understand the hotline either, what do I do.

I see you already got great help by Bumer with wonderful screenshots how to release your number to be ported to your other provider.
Could you already do it and contact your other provider again?
