O2 sim contract early contract termination

Hellon Team,

I got confirmation that my sim contracts will be terminated on Jan 10th 2026, but i might still receive the bill post termination for a month. But I would be closing my german bank account as well, so how to pay the last month bill ? 

Please let me know regarding this.

Hello ​@PranavSrinivas,

you will receive notification about your bill via e-mail and can then check your bill via your Mein o2 customer account. Then you can transfer the amount of your bill to us:

Hypo Vereinsbank AG
IBAN: DE 16 7002 0270 0005 7131 53
BIC: HYVEDEMMXXX

For this to work you need to revoke your direct debit authorisation with us first, best via our contact form.

Thanks for the information. Sure I shall transfer to account as instructed. May I know how to revoke direct debit authorization ? Because my bank account shall be closed on same day as my O2 sim contract termination date.

Do I need to email any authority? It would be very helpful if you provide more info.

Hello ​@o2_Gerrit ,

I saw the procedure to revoke direct debit authorization. I am already in my home country and its quite difficult to send a written letter now. If I was instructed earlier, I would have mentioned it too, when I sent written notice for contract termination. 

Could you please suggest some alternative for this.

Thanks for the information. Please do the needful by switching the payment method from debit to transfer. 

Also, I would be transferring from my Indian bank account once the last bill arrives, so could you please tell if I need to mention any other details along with the customer number in the reference while doing payment.

I am about to transfer the final month’s bill amount, since I am making transfer from my Indian account, its asking for some more detailed information. 

  1. Full name of the account holder
  2. Recipient address
  3. Swift code/ BIC

Please provide the above details to me as early as possible.
