o2 mobile internet connection speeds

So I have been a member for o2 for the last week or so but my connection speeds are terrible and really unreliable. I am not sure what is going on here but tested with another operator and difference the same location is 8x.

Thanks for the link. My phone setting is set to 5G on and when I checked my location from the link you provided 5G is not available in my area. I had to manually disable 5G to LTE. It is  little bettee now but definitely not great and also I am not sure why it does not automatically fallback to LTE

Dear @bdd ,

that looks much better, than the tests with 5G. However, I see that there are currently restrictions in the 4G range at your contact address. However, I cannot say how long these will last. :confused:

The internet is not very stable in my current location for the last week or so. I currently disabled the 5G and working with LTE. 

 

You mean 5G restrictions not 4G right? I don’t see anything related to 4G at LiveCheck result.

Dear @bdd ,

I actually meant 4G restrictions. So even with 4G, the reception is not that great. So there is hope that it can get better once the limitations are removed.

There is no 5G at your address, so there can be no restrictions. :wink:

Hello @bdd,

the reason is either an overload situation, i.e. too many mobile phone users at the same time in a certain area. Or this is another fault (e.g. a hardware part on the base station is defective). I can't give you any precise information on this.

A solution is currently being worked on.
