Dear all,
I would like to know if there is a way to be able to use an O2 Homespot LTE router without having to pay it for 24 months as I will not be staying in Germany that long.
Thank you very much in advance.
Hello @pgces and welcome to our community.
Do you already have a My Home LTE contract or are you first of all interested in such a tariff?
I guess you have none, so I would suggest you to decide for a Flex-Tariff, which you can terminate absolutely problemless any time you want 4 weeks to end of month. That would cost you e. g. 69,99 € once for installation and 29,99 € (My Home LTE M) monthly. It’s of course a bit more expensive, but you avoid any kind of further troubles like proving you are leaving Germany and stuff.
Hth and regards
Joachim
Edit:
corrected improving to proving
Hello Joachim,
That’s exactly what I was looking for. Thank you very much!
Best regards
Dear @pgces ,
@JoachimK. has already informed you that we have the flex tariffs, which cost a little more per month, but can be canceled on a monthly basis. If you choose a tariff with a rented home spot, you can cancel the tariff monthly and borrow the home spot from us. You then have to send it back to us at the end of the contract period.
Many thanks also to @JoachimK. for the support.
Kind regards,
Andrea
Dear @o2_Andrea ,
Thank you very much for your answer. I have been checking the options here: o2 my Home M: LTE/5G-Internet bis 50 Mbit/s günstig sichern (o2online.de) but I could not find any option of renting the HomeSpot, I thought the only option was to pay for it monthly for 12/36/48 months and then get it for you.
Last week I checked in the webpage I have pointed above and it was possible to select a 5G Homespot to get 100Mbps with the L tariff but now I select them and it sends me to an error page. Are they not available anymore?
Best regards
Hello @pgces,
it is possible that the Homespot 5G is not available at this time. It might be available again at a later time. Your also have the possibility to either use a mobile phone as a WiFi hotspot, we also over two mobile HotSpots that eitehr support up to 4G or one model that also supports 5G.
If you need to attach a landline phone to the device or have no possibility to connect your computer via WiFi (for example with an USB WiFi stick) we only offer our 4G Homespot with the tariff.
Regards,
Lars
