For just over a month my O2 HomeSpot has lost it’s connection to the internet.

The only thing to do is to power the router off and on to regain the connection.

When looking in the error logs I do see a critical error that the HomeSpot temperature is reaching almost 74 degrees. Is this likely to be the culprit? And is the device faulty?
The HomeSpot is sitting on a small table by itself with good airflow in all directions and isn’t close to a heat source.
Are temperatures in the mid 70s normal?

I’ve also included the error log for today - thanks for reading.

welcome to the o2 Community .

Routers tend to get pretty warm during usage, but 74°C seems definitely higher than normal and what I’d expect of the HomeSpot, but maybe someone else has similar experiences with their unit. Have you only had these issues recently or is it a new HomeSpot?

I have had the HomeSpot for a year, but it has only been in the last month that it has been constantly losing connection to the Cell Tower.

I only recently discovered the logs with the critical temperature message, and they don’t seem to stay visible for long.

Though since I initially asked for help the device has been more stable.

Would you suggest I ask for a replacement before the device gets any older and in case the problem gets worse?
