I bought a Samsung s9+ in contract with 02 in September 2017. I want to terminate my contract after the initial contract period of 2 years. So as suggested in the MeinO2 portal, I called the customer care and terminated my contract in May. They said it will be terminated.

But now my contract is auto-renewed till September 2021. I really want to cancel my contract as I am a student and might be moving out of Germany in December 2020

Kindly let me know what to do on this

Hi @knowItAll95

welcome again to our English community. Of course, I will help you to clarify your issue concerning the cancellation.

  • Did you get a cancellation confirmation?
  • Did you check if you find a deactivation date on the last page of your invoice?

If you like to cancel your contract because of moving abroad, please fill out this form: extraordinary cancellation because of moving abroad

The procedure is mentioned here as well: instructions for cancelling the contract because of moving abroad

I hope, the information will help you.

Loving greetings,

Tobias

I didn't get any confirmation of cancelation. My last date for termination was given as June 30th in o2 app.  I called the customer care and terminated in end of May.

Me and my friend bought the phone on the same day and terminated it on the same day. His contact is terminated but mine isn't.

It will be very hard for me to pay the contract amount every month being a student in this pandemic situation
