O2 Contract Extension

Hello. 

I am currently a customer with o2 and would like to extend for 24 months but I would only wish to do this if receiving the conditions and pricing for new customers. In my contract extension portal, the only offer is for 35 Euros, where as the same offer is made under Tariffs for customers for 17.49 per month (O2 Free M Boost). I am under the impression that if I order that deal, a second contract will be set up and will run concurrently which, of course, I do not want. 

Can you please advise on how I can extend with the O2 Free M Boost and get the discount.

You are right that the 50% discount is in fact for o2 customers only and serves as an incentive to start an additional contract (“Kombi-Vorteil”). That is the only scenario in which this huge discount appears.

This also means that new customers do not get this kind of deal at all (you can verify this by clicking the Neukunden button and see the monthly fees change accordingly).

Having said that, you can ask here in this thread for an offer regarding the extension of your existing contract - just state which tarif you would like, and if you want some new mobile phone along with it, which kind.

You will then get a customized offer for your contract with (hopefully) some decent discount by an o2 moderator, but please allow a few days for them to respond. :relaxed:

As you have only one contract, the 50%-discount offer is only possible for you if you order a second contract.
