Number portability from business to prepaid

Hello,

I have moved my number from my employer’s business account to a prepaid sim card but the old number is not activated. The operation was done at an official o2 shop and I was told it would be available instantly. 

new number is  xxxxxxxxx

Anyone can help with this ?

I checked the form again. Moving from o2 Business to o2 Prepaid was not possible for a couple of months. Now it should work again.

    The move to another account needs around 10 days.

    Hey Klaus,

    I did it yesterday and what it told me I put my sim card in. Does it take 10 days to go from O2 business to prepaid as well?

    Hi!

    You had an o2 business contract or was the contract with another provider?

    Wrong: Porting from o2 Business to o2 Prepaid is no longer possible.

     

    edit: I checked the form again. Moving from o2 Business to o2 Prepaid is available again and should work.

    Best solution - ask the shop. I have no idea how this was managed.

    I had o2 business through my work and the paper was done yesterday at an official o2 shop with the help of my employer so I would be surprised to now hear the operation is not possible. 

    Does it take 10 days to go from O2 business to prepaid as well?

    Best solution - ask the shop. I have no idea how this was managed. 

     

    I would if I could go to the shop but I’m travelling and wouldn’t be able to have this information. Hopefully it’s possible to get help from an o2 rep via this community.

    Great and would you know if this is meant to be instant upon activating my o2 prepaid ?
