Do you have this problem permanently or has it  appeared only recently? Are you currently in Germany?

If you are calling from abroad it probably has to do with a change in German law, like in this thread:

In this case it is possible that your caller ID is not displayed at the moment.

Thank you very much for your reply. I currently live​​​​​ in Germany. By the way I recently ported my mobile number from vodafone to O2, since I bought a iPhone with contract. This SIM card I bought from a supermarket in Germany and only used here. But I just noticed my called ID is not visible to anyone.

then it should normally be displayed. Have you restarted your mobile phone after the number was changed?

maybe the settings of your phone are not correct. What kind of model is it? In the telephone settings it can be changed in most smart phones.

You could also check if the number is displayed if you put your SIM card in another phone.
