my Internet-to-Go: how to book flat rates before current one runs out


Hello,

If I book a daily flat rate with my Internet-to-go, it seems that I can’t book another one (if I need to) until the current one runs out. That’s a bit annoying, because it means that I have to stop using the Internet (to avoid extra charges) at 00:00, and then book another one after it runs out. Is there a way of booking two daily flat rates in a row (or at least adding another one before the current one runs out), to avoid this issue? It seems like quite a basic feature but I couldn’t find a way of doing so in the app.

Actually, a new flat should be bookable beforehand. 
However, you would then have overlapping costs. 
Have you ever tried it? 
You are currently using the monthly flat rate.

Many thanks, Solveig ,for your annswer. When I have looked at this before, I couldn’t see that option to book a new flat rate before the current one expired. But until now I have only used the daily option, so I will have a look near the end of the month with the monthly option I now have to see if I have the option of booking a new flat rate beforehand (it does not currently show up as an option).

Hello again,

My monthly booking runs out tomorrow. I just checked to see if I could rebook before it runs out. It is not giving me that option - it just says no options are currently available, so it seems I cannot book until the current one runs out. This seems like a surprising limitation. Is there anything else you can suggest or, if not, is there a contact point where I can raise this as a technical issue where I am looking for a solution?

Hello ​@o2_Solveig and ​@o2_Ines, just flagging in relation to the issue that I raised above that I still don’t have the option to book in advance, even though my monthly package runs out tomorrow evening. I am therefore still looking for a solution (see my previous post). Any help that you can provide with this would be much appreciated.

Thank you very much for your feedback. I was happy to take a look at it. It looks like it is not
possible to extend the monthly flat rate before it expires. A new booking is only possible after expiry.
I'm sorry that there is no other option.

Hello Daniela,

Thank you for following this up. I did receive the relevant information, so thank you for that, but the answers were not particularly helpful in that they did not resolve the problem. The fact that that the initial answers suggested it should be possible confirmed, I think, that this is a basic thing that one would expect to be available. But the final answer shows a lack of basic functionality, with no solution.
