I recently got the SIM card for My Home M LTE and used it with Huawei 4GRouter B528 and the internet is working perfectly. But, I am unable to setup the landline to work.

There is no Tone at all when I connect a Landline Device to the Router.
is there any special configuration for that?

There is no telephony with third-party routers (no O2 Homespot) because VoLTE is necessary and Huawei does not have this feature either. Some Huawei routers are also sold with firmware without a phone function.
Try the telephony setting with "CS".

Or the cable is defective.

so its because of the router or because not possible to have a landline by LTE connection?

in the specification of the internet offer it was recommended to use the Huawei that i mentioned up, if not the O2 router.

Once again - if the VoLTE feature is mandatory for telephony and the router does not have this feature built in, then logically it cannot work. The O2 Homespot can make calls with VoLTE. Therefore, I cannot imagine that o2 has recommended a Huawei router.

Hi @Mr.tam

nice to meet you again here in our English Community.

Thanks also to @Klaus_VoIP for his explanation concerning our tariff“o2 my Home LTE/ 5G” and the possibility to do calls by telephone.

On our website, we only recommend the following router:

And as mentioned there and as @Klaus_VoIP explained, telephoning is only possible via VoLTE.

If you decide to use your own router, it is up to you if something does not function properly.

Loving greetings,

Tobias

Try the telephony setting with "CS".

Test it again. Maybe it works now?

We moved into a new apartment and we decided to go with o2. We got the o2 lte router and we got the contract. We activated the sim and it seemed to work for a couple hours. It then stopped working and haven't been able to establish a connection again... What can I do?
