Mobile phone Exchange policy in store


Hello,

I bought an Phone 11 Pro max(gold) on 22.5.20 in o2 store Bremen, Germany without installment .After unboxing I didn’t like the gold color.So very next day i went to o2 store to exchange the gold into space grey.But o2 employee in store said, it’s not possible.They can’t exchange me another color !.Even I won’t have my refund if I want to return it ! 

I was really surprised! 
 

so could you please tell me , is there any way I can exchange my mobile gold into space grey? And is that really o2 exchange policy in store?

Ah, sorry, I missed that in your first post. then unfortunately you have no possibility to exchange or return the smartphone. If you really don’t want to keep the gold phone, your only option would be to sell it on.

For your information: In Germany you are supposed to look either at details like this in store or order online where a 14 day refund law applies.

As far as o2 concern ,I didn’t find any info regarding Exchange in store , except employee from o2 shop.and it’s  frustrating.

You only need to be informed if there is a policy which differs from the legal situation, which is that there is no return right for goods purchased in a shop. There is no right to exchange goods either.

There is an exception though. Are you paying for the phone in instalments or did you pay in full? If you are paying in instalments you can cancel the contract within 14 days.

thanks for your message and welcome to our English community.

Unfortunately, I cannot offer you any other solution. If the shop refuses to exchange the phone, you only have the possibility to sell the phone.

 

You can also buy a nice case in the colour of your wish. Then you do not see the gold colour anymore.

 

I hope that you still find a convenient solution for you.
