Good afternoon everyone:)
Hope you all are having a great day.

So 2 years ago I’ve made a 24 months postpaid contract and now I’d like to request for a termination since I don’t want the contract to be renewed automatically.
 

I’ve been searching for a “how to procedure” but I failed to find one.
If you know the correct way, please let me know.

 

And these are some questions I’d like to ask:

  • Is it possible to terminate the contract through “mein o2” app?
  • If not, do I have to send them a letter? 
  • When is the deadline to terminate the contract? (My contract started on June 4th, 2022)

if you want just cancel your contract in a normal manner, then the online form for this is probably the easiest and comfortable way to do so. The notice period for a cancellation is a month, so if your contract started on the 4th of June, then you’d be ever so slightly over this date by now.

Thank you Sven for your reply!

However, the online form seems like it’s leading me to register for a different contract in o2. In my case, I’ll be leaving Germany soon, so I’d like to terminate everything before I leave Germany. So is there a way to do that?

At the top of the form there is information about receiving offers if you decide not to terminate, but this is definitely the correct form to end your contract.
