How do I use the balance I already have on my account to add to my data on my pre-paid plan? 

I have like a €30+ balance and very little data so want to use that amount to add data.

You can book suitable data packs in the customer portal under Tariff & SIM card - Internet-Packs.

Thanks Bumer but that’s to purchase separately.

Hello @DSlk, you can book prepaid packages directly in the "Mein o2 App" or on the website “mein o2” if you have registered with your prepaid phone number.

Thanks for your reply. I can only find the packages I need to pay for in addition. 

How do I do pay for these packages using the money already on my account in “Mein Guthaben”?

Hello @DSlk,

if you order one of the packs shown in your Mein o2 account, the fee will be deducted from your Guthaben. For example, you purchase the Data Pack L for 14,99 € valid for 28 days and you have a balance of 30+. Then you have internet for 28 days included but the fees for SMS and telephone calls will be deducted from your balance.

The packs will extend automatically unless you cancel them in your Mein o2 or your balance is not sufficient anymore. In our example the fee for the  Data Pack L of 14,99 € leaves 15+ sot it will be extended automatically for another 28 days deducting another 14,99 €. If your phone calls within the first 28 days lowered your balance below 14,99 € the extension will not happen.

If it is above 9,99 €, you could then go back in your Mein o2 account and order the Data Pack M 5 GB for 9,99 € for the second 28 days

Should I wait for my current data to expire/be used before changing/ adding a data package?

I am already on the €9.99 and still have data in my package, will buying the  eg.14.99€ now, cancel out the data I have still to use or will it be added to it?

the pack for 14,99 € will exchange the pack for 9,99 €, so you want to wait until its data volume is finished.
