extra 10 GB not given (for vertragsverlangerung) :/

I received a call from O2 for extension of contract , the guy on the phone said If I renew my contract I would get 10 Gb extra every month .... so 20gb original + 10 gb equals 30 gb every month.

I agreed 👍  then went to the app and found 30 GB on my main page as promised. THIS DOSCONTINUED AFTER ONLY 1 MONTH ! 🤔 

I called the helpline again and the representative told me I would get 10 gb NEXT YEAR in NOV 2025 🫠🙃

What kind of a joke is this company? 

I'm already a customer for 2+ years and usually pay for extra services like unlimited interent every other month when I travel . 

I don't even fully use the 20 gb most months because I have WiFi at home .... 🙃  but THE AUDACITY TO LIE ..... wth 🤦‍♀️ 🤦‍♂️.... it just feels like betrayal

I’m sorry to hear that there was a misunderstanding concerning the new tariff. Did you keep your old plan and just got an offer about a discount and additional the so called “Datengeschenk” or did you decide to change to a complete new tariff? 

If you are still within the 14 days after signing the contract extention you can withdraw the contract. Afterwards this is no longer possible.

Is this even legit ? Like I would have switched to a competition if not for the extra 10 gb they promised .

I wasn't there for the phone call, so I can't comment on your descriptions. If things were discussed differently than they are implemented, you have a legal right of withdrawal.

Yes but the phone call was recorded , you can listen and implement it ?

Request the voice recording if o2 gets in the way and get legal advice, either from the consumer advice center or a lawyer.

At the time I was using O2 for 2 years, so I kept my original plan and extended for 1 more year because I thought I would get more data :/

okay, I see. Sorry for the misunderstanding. The discount is set correctly and the data upgrades happens every year due to the so called “Grow-Vorteil” So you get 10 GB on top, but not each month. Unfortunately the chance to withdraw the change is gone. 

Is there any other question left to ask?
