English: Change contract but keep number


Hello, I’ll like to change/cancel my 02 contract at the end of the contract period. I want to downgrade to a lower tariff. Is it possible to keep the 02 number with the new tarriff? Thank you.

Hello @o2_Ines I’ll like to get a new tariff then. However, the tariff that shows on my o2 page are still more than I would like to pay. Can I cancel this contract and then create a new one? How can I write you privately with details?

Before you start a new contract with a new mobile phone number, I would like to check for you the possibilkities that you have with an extension of your contract and a downgrade of the tariff. 

 

How much data-volume do you need?

And would you like to include a phone in the offer? Our phones are listed here: our devices at o2

Hello Tobias,

I cancelled the old contract and then tried to buy a new contract on the o2 website with a lower tariff. However on the website, it says that my contract has simply been extended with the old tariff. I do not want this old tariff and do not know how this happened. I’ll like to cancel this new contract or get it downgraded to the o2 S for 10,99 with 3GB. If the downgrade with the new tariff is not possible, I’ll simply like to cancel the contract. I’m still within the 14 day right of cancellation. Thank you.

I have good news for you: everything is fine. You prolonged your contract online for further 24 months in the tariff “o2 Free S” for 10,99 € per month. 

 

You do not have any additional new contract. 

 

As I see, you already received the tariff-confirmation by e-mail. You can see all the details there as well.
