Hello,

I currently have o2 sim and my contract runs for 2 years from 15th September 2018 to 14 September 2020. So I would like to end my contract by 14th September 2020. So I contacted the customer care 3 and a half months before(as I should end my termination 3 months before) in the first week of June. At that time, I was in Spain and I couldn’t connect to the customer care as I don’t know German and I did not have anyone next to me who can speak German. I was not able to come to Germany as I was struck in Spain due to the covid19 lockdown. So as soon as I came back to Germany in July, I went to the o2 office to cancel, but then they are telling I cannot cancel it and it has been extended to 14th September, 2020. The monthly tariff is now 30 euros(before it was only 10euros). As a student, I can’t pay 30euros a month. I was late only by 15 days and that is because I couldn’t talk to someone in English. Covid19 is a world level crisis and I was struck in Spain and I also tried contacting someone to terminate my contract. So. isn’t there a solution to this? Had there been an English speaking customer support, I would have not been in this situation. Please help me with this, as I am already affected by covid19 crisis and this monthly 30euro tariff is a huge burden on myself.

Regards,

Rathna
