Hi O2 community
I saw the contract extension section yesterday in mein O2 and try to subscribe where I thought it will only executed after my current contract ends in September 2024. In fact this morning I had the new contract running while I can still the old contract for the next 6 months (with cheaper price and bigger GB quota). Can I revert back to the old contract until it ends and only switch on the new contract after the old end? How does the billing would be?
thank you!

You can cancel the extension with new tariff within 14 days via e-mail to : widerruf@cc.o2online.de
Then you get your old tariff back.
You can make a new extension later.
Thanks for your answer Bollermann! Does the old contract will automatically applied and I don’t need to do anything other than cancelling it via widerruf@cc.o2online.de ?
Context: old contract involves new device instalment + Free L package (60 GB)
the new one: O2 Mobile M (25 GB) without device
Hello @groceryart
I have now complied with your request and forwarded your cancellation to the responsible department for contract extension. As soon as the extension is canceled, you will switch back to your previous tariff the following day. You will also receive an email and SMS confirmation.
Please feel free to contact us again at any time if you would like to renew your contract
Is that okay with you?
Best regards
Kathi
