Hello O2 Team,

I am writing to request the cancellation of my mobile phone contract and to settle the outstanding balance. Although the contract is set to end in 2026, I would like to pay the remaining amount now and terminate my mobile network contract due to relocation abroad.

I have made several attempts, including contacting customer support, but the information provided has not been helpful and has been time-consuming. I kindly ask the support team to assist in resolving this matter as soon as possible.

The easiest way to cancel your contract is our online cancellation form: Ihr Kündigungswunsch | o2 (o2online.de)

Here you can also cancel your contract early (Außerordentliche Kündigung) because of moving abroad.

You will have to upload a copy of you deregistration form there (from the Einwohnermeldeamt).

Bumer’s link is also correct, but a little outdated with the paper form.

@o2_GiuliaThe link you provided is helpful. However, I’d like to clarify: when I cancel the mobile phone I purchased using that link, will O2 automatically deduct the remaining balance? I’m ready to make the phone.

Also, I didn’t see an option to upload my deregistration documents through the link.

yes, if you still have an active bank account with direct debit authorization for the deduction.

You can send the documents to the address stated in the article which Bumer shared.

I have sent my deregistration document along with an additional letter to the office address provided in the link shared by @Bumer . I have also completed the online cancellation process using the link provided by @o2_Giulia . I hope this will facilitate the successful completion of the payment and cancellation.
