cancel contract


Sir / Madam,

 

i would like to cancel my postpaid o2 contract since one year but I am not receiving any response from o2.

I tried calling o2 customer service, but when I request them to talk in English they disconnect my call. 
i visited the nearest o2 store to cancel my contract, instead they changed my contract to higher price from 10 euros to 25 euros. And it looked like they did it intentionally. I even spoke German and also showed them the Google translator asking to cancel the contract. Very disappointing customer service.

Even when I don't use my o2 number for months I have received bills for 70 euros and above for each month. I don't use my o2 number regularly still I receive bills which is very expensive and tough to pay.


And canceling the contract is so complicated, even after waiting for hours on call I am not able to connect any of your customer care member. So I had to visit the store near my place and then they made it worse by changing the contract from 10 euros to 25 euros without even asking me.

I request you to cancel my o2 contract as soon as possible.

o2 store I visited was in Riem Arcaden, Willy brandt Allee 5, 81829. And I had clearly asked them to how to cancel the contract but they changed my contract to expensive one (25 euros) which is for 24 months and when I went again to ask about it they behaved as if they don’t know anything. Why is it like that? Is it because I am a foreign customer and it’s easy to fool us because of language constraints? I am the customer of o2 from 2016 but this is the disappointing customer service I ever had at o2 store. Now I am forced to stay for 24 months and I was not even asked about it nor i signed for it. Very very disappointed. 
 

So I request you to find me a way to cancel my o2 contract as I am unable to pay so hefty o2 Bills every month.

I regret that there were obviously some misunderstandings concerning your contract. 

 

I will do my best to deactivate the extension for you that was made on 8th May 2021. This can take some days as I need to forward your issue to a special department.

Once I receive the deactivation mail from you I will post the cancellation letter to address mentioned by you.

FYI: The o2 store I visited was in Willy brandt Allee 5, 81829 Munich who changed my contract from 10 euros to 25 euros when I asked themto terminate the contract.

I received the deactivation mail for 17 euro tariff, but you have extended my 25 euro tariff. I had requested to cancel my contract. And I hope my previous messages where clear requesting you to cancel my contract. 
 

I have clearly told in my previous messages that o2 store in Munich Willy-brandt-Allee 5 had extended my contract from 11 euros to 25 euros including o2 tv when I asked them to terminate the contract. Why are customers fooled like this?

 

I want my contract terminated.

My request was to deactivate my o2 number and not to cancel contract and restart new contract.

I don’t want to use o2 number again.

so please deactivate my number.

Dear @Achuth ,

 

@o2_Tobias  has cancelled the contract extension of 08.05.2021 for you again. The contract is reset to the conditions of the last extension from 07.11.2020 in the store and now runs again as before until 07.11.2022.

If you are moving out of Germany, please take a look at this article: Extraordinary cancellation because of moving abroad

It is important that you send the required documents so that the cancellation is then accepted.

i had asked Tobias to deactivate my number and not extend any new contracts since I don’t use my o2 number anymore.

i never asked to revert the contract to 25 euros. I am unable to pay bills and it is too expensive for me. I have told several times that I was fooled by your o2 store on Munich and they created a new contract of 25 euros which I never asked for. 

Now I request you to deactivate and terminate all o2 contracts. I don’t want to continue with o2 number anymore as I don’t use the o2 number and it’s too expensive.

 

i have also written a letter to o2 office regarding all issues.

And also I have not signed any new contract letter in November 2020 in your o2 store. So why was the new contract created? I have never signed to any new contracts. All I asked for what termination of the contract. Could I please know why was new contract of 25 euros created from November 2020?

it would be helpful if I know why was the new contract created even when I never signed any contract papers ?

my colleagues corrected the contract details so the regular end is now November 7th 2021. If you move abroad please provide the requested documents and the date of ending the contract and we will continue to terminate everything.

I have the similar issue. I had completed first contract successfully for 24 months. But the new contract after 24 months got automatic updated as I did not update and was not in Germany. Now I want to cancel this contract. Please answer below questions 

 

  1. This new contract started in April 2021 I want to use it till August 2021. Can I terminate this new contract without any fine ?
