Cancel add-on service “Monatlicher Datensnack”

Hi, apart from my regular Mobile M plan, a separate “Monatlicher Datensnack” charge for €21,99 is showing up on my bill for the past 2 months. I don’t need this add-on service. Can anyone advice how it should be canceled?

Lösung von Bumer

Log into the wallet with your phone number, you should find something there under *Meine Abos* and cancel it straight away.

in the customer portal under Tariff & SIM card for Internet and 5G options. In the pack, click Details, then click Unsubscribe.

Thank you for the response. The “Monatlicher Datensnack” I want to cancel is not listed as a pack under the Tariff & SIM card for Internet and 5G options. I checked the other menu fields but couldn’t spot this option. Is there anywhere else specifically that I should look for this to unsubscribe?

if you no longer see it under Internet and 5G options, it has already ended.

That is what I thought last month, that it was a one time charge but got charged again this month so I don’t think it has ended 😟

as written, if you no longer see the speed option, it has ended. Invoices are created retroactively.

Thanks! I will hope for the best and wait to see the next invoice then.

Hello @SenSan,

Welcome to our o2 Community. 🤗

Like Bumer, I think that if you no longer see the option there, it has already been canceled. If this is not the case, you are welcome to contact us at any time and we will take a closer look.

Kind regards, Lea

@SenSan, it seems I have a similar issue. Ordered the snack and canceled it right away but it is still on my invoice. And the best, the App doesn’t show the extra data volume anymore.

@o2_Lea is this the “new economy” aka scam from O2?

Zur Info, doppelt:

Invoices are created retroactively. If the speed option is no longer visible in My o2, it has now been canceled and will no longer be charged in the future.

@o2_Lea -- Hi Lea, following up on the messages above, the charge for the “Monatlicher Datensnack” is not there any more in my current bill so that seems to have been resolved but I now see a €7,99 charge for “Verbindungen & Services - Mehrwertdienste”. I have not ordered any new Value-Added Services (“Mehrwertdienste”). Can you pls help to clarify what this charge is about and how to reverse it?

@Bumer Thank you so much!! I found a subscription there and cancelled it immediately. But I did not subscribe for this “Games Unlimited” … any idea on how this got added and how to prevent that from happening? There are no App subscriptions in my phone, I checked.

@SenSan

did everything work with the blocking of Third-Party-Providers? Or are you still in need of assistance?
